Brimrose Technology’s Sudhir Trivedi Named A 2024 SPIE Fellow

Sparks, MD—Dr. Sudhir Trivedi, Director of Research & Development for Brimrose Technology Corporation (BTC), has been named a SPIE Fellow for the class of 2024. Dr. Trivedi oversees a variety of R&D projects BTC is involved in with the U.S. government, largely in the areas of advanced photonic materials and acousto-optic sensing. Agencies BTC works with include the various branches Department of Defense, NASA, DOE, NIH, and others.

Dr. Trivedi and the team of researchers he oversees are frequent contributors to the various SPIE conferences and seminars as well as other conferences around the world. The group has worked with academic institutions around the world.

He has worked at Brimrose since 1986 and has experience in the development of a wide range of materials including metals, semiconductors, optical ceramics and semiconductor quantum dots.

As defined by SPIE, “Fellows are Members of distinction who have made significant scientific and technical contributions in the multidisciplinary fields of optics, photonics, and imaging. They are honored for their technical achievement and for their service to the general optics community and to SPIE, in particular.”
