About Us

Brimrose Acousto-Opc Devices

AO DEVICES

Turning ideas into reality began with an idea for GHz acousto-optic devices in the early 1980's. Brimrose developed the technique to make it happen. And to this day, we are the only AO company to offer high frequency devices in custom-built small packages.

Brimrose AOTF-NIR Spectrometers

AOTF-NIR

We make world-class NIR spectrometers using our core Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter (AOTF) technology specially designed for Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and in-line/at-line analysis and have been doing so for four decades.

Brimrose AOTF Hyperspectral Imager

AOTF-HSI

Again, an idea became reality when Brimrose secured an SBIR to create an AOTF based hyperspectral imager. Unlike push broom technologies, the AOTF Imager takes a complete snapshot at each wavelength and outputs an entire data cube.
